Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Will Be Available Later This Year
Ok Final Fantasy fans, time for you to get some GOOD NEWS. What is this news you might wonder? well, Square Enix has revealed that the Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is coming to various gaming platforms later this year, and that includes the Xbox One.
Announced during the Square Enix E3 Live event on Monday (June 10th), Final Fantasy VIII Remastered brings the game’s classic story to modern platforms, now with newly rendered visuals that bring the game’s characters to life like never before.
For those that are new Final Fantasy fans, or those who might need a recap, in Final Fantasy VIII, the military nation of Galbadia has declared war on the Dukedom of Dollet, who must hire the mercenary force, SeeD. Squall Leonhart, a new member of SeeD, together with his friends and Rinoa Heartilly, a member of a resistance group, get pulled into the war, unaware of their fated task to save the world.
We know a few fans of the Final Fantasy series, who just happen to write for XBA, that are excited for this release later this year.
